Westfield yesterday launched its first major office development in the United Kingdom at 1 Stratford Place. The commercial property, which contains a total of 130,000 square feet, is complete and ready to be occupied for requirements of between 10,000 and 60,000 square feet of office space.
The building is the first phase of offices that is to be delivered at Westfield Stratford City and is set to be followed by another one million square feet of office space that will offer some of the most immediate and biggest pre-let opportunities available in London. Once the Olympic Games have finished next year, Westfield is intending to deliver the additional one million square feet of office space over the course of another three phases.
The commercial property is situated at an iconic location on the end of the pedestrian bridge, which reaches into the Olympic Park and also offers views of the entire Olympic site, Canary Wharf, and the City of London.
