New London Office Space Almost at Full Capacity Already

A new business centre offering executive office space in London is already nearing full capacity, despite having been open for just three months. After just over ninety days of operation, since opening on 16th August, the business centre in Marylebone is already at 90% occupancy.

The office provider centre, operated by professional office provider company, i2 Office, on lease from Howard De Walden Estates, features four floors worth of fully serviced executive office-space located in the heart of the busy London area on Devonshire Street. The building is actually a fully refurbished Georgian property, with two wood-panelled boardrooms and 2 x 100MB of leased line connectivity. There are also first-class meeting rooms, virtual and post box mail services for use by all clients, be they from the media, financial or IT related industries. Devonshire Street is just two minutes walk away from Regents Park underground stations and Great Portland Street.

This commercial property offers the latest in hi-tech equipment, including state of the art Mitel telephone handsets, telephone systems and ultra fast broadband internet connections. The centre has already received positive feedback from professional office space assessor company, Officebroker.com, which visited the property back in August and noted that it, “Seems like a beautiful place to work, extremely nice offices, great location, price (is) very reasonable for the high quality”.

The 90% occupancy rate claimed for the Devonshire Street property is just more good news for i2 Office. Their Milton Keynes business centre, at Luminous House, has also been open for less than a year and is now operating at no less than 87% occupancy. It is part of Abbeygate Helical’s £140million C4.1 Vizion MK development, which was opened by the local mayor some two years ago, in 2008. The development has been placed on the shortlist for a number of awards for its design and construction quality. As well as the executive office space, the area also features 440 quality apartments and a Sainsbury’s store with a floor area of some 110,000sqft. Companies renting out executive office space within Luminous House include Daucy and Delphi.

“The fact that we have rapidly achieved such high occupancy rates at both of our new centres in a difficult market is a testament to the quality of our product,” commented i2 Office CEO, Philip Grace. He went on to add, “We are delighted to see that demand for high quality, Grade A serviced office space has not diminished, despite economic conditions. We look forward to further developments and extending our network across the UK.” Grace is not just the CEO, but also the founder of the i2 Office company and has over 12 years of experience in the serviced office community. The company also operates a third business centre, which is located right in the heart of the Scottish city of Glasgow.
