Aker Solutions Gets New London Office Space

Aker Solutions has had new London office space completed by the award winning Peldon Rose Workplace Consultants. The new workspace of the worldwide oil and gas Service Company comprises of 25,000 square feet and is situated in Chiswick Business Park in London. The new offices, which have been created in order to support the firm’s international business and workplace expansion, will help to support field development schemes for the North Sea and elsewhere in the world.

“The design helps the office to flow efficiently and is easy to maintain” says the operations director for Aker Solutions, Mike Smith” It is also future proof to allow for expansion. It can accommodate 175 people with an additional six meeting rooms capable of holding six people seated. Aker Solutions expects to create 500 new UK jobs by the end of 2015 and further continue its growth.”

Key features of the office space include five principal meeting rooms and one main boardroom, all of which come fully equipped with all of the latest communications technology. Other features include three primary breakout areas, which have been strategically located and designed in order to get as much natural light as is possible and to create an atmosphere of relaxation and warmth. Wooden open basket style pendant fittings have also been added to the dining areas in another attempt to help create a softening feeling.
